Release date: April 30, 2026
a Dance Mag is an independent global print magazine about dance in all its forms and flows. It captures ephemeral moments and turns them into timeless, beautifully designed narratives.
It features dance as seen, contemplated, and experienced by movers from around the world. It was born, in 2018, to position dance within its worldwide context. And in turn, explore the interconnectedness of the world through the lens of dance.
Its narrative style makes its experiential, informative, and thought-provoking content accessible to inquisitive English-speaking readers worldwide.
Each issue centers around a theme to explore a universe of histories, philosophies, rituals, techniques, and narratives related to that thematic experience.
In this issue:
Structure, traces the scaffolding of our lives — seen and unseen. We travel from the palaces of Versailles to the basements of Russian resistance, from origami folds to mechanized labor, from cosmic geometry to the twitch of a stimming hand. These are structures that hold us, train us, divide us, and sometimes set us free.
