Army doctor John Watson, recently injured during the war in Afghanistan, returns to London in an effort to rebuild his life. Struggling with limited finances, he seeks a shared living arrangement and ultimately moves into 221B Baker Street with the enigmatic and eccentric detective, Sherlock Holmes.
When a man is discovered dead in an abandoned house on the outskirts of London, the scene presents a baffling mystery: the victim shows no visible injuries, yet the room is splattered with blood, and the word ‘Revenge’ is ominously scrawled on the wall. Desperate for answers, Inspectors Lestrade and Gregson turn to Sherlock Holmes. With his legendary powers of deduction, the master detective begins to unravel a case that defies conventional explanation.

A Study in Scarlet is the first of Arthur Conan Doyle s novels featuring Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
