A Week Abroad: French Riviera
Release date: August 14, 2026
I have long wanted to create this edition. Originally from Marseille, I spent every summer of my childhood on this coast—far from the yachts and the glitz—wandering through hilltop villages, shaded coves, and Provençal markets that forged my deep attachment to the region. The Côte d’Azur is arguably France’s most stereotyped destination, and that is precisely what inspired me to tell its story differently: through the eyes of the people who enrich it far from the limelight.
For this edition, I chose to give a voice to seven individuals deeply rooted in the local landscape. Some cultivate the land, while others work with materials or preserve memories. Through their stories, you too will discover a Côte d’Azur that is more unspoiled, more charming, and more firmly anchored in its local heritage.
A committed travel book and guide for alternative travel and to support local and independent economies.
