Another Man is a fashion and culture rich title that speaks directly to a large male audience currently being ignored by both the mainstream and the niche fashion magazines for men. Another Man mixes credible modern Icons with art, music, high impact fashion photography and strong opinionated writing by key cultural voices. A magazine for men who like their lifestyle rocked with passion and intelligence, luxury and a sense of adventure. Working with some of the most influential names in fashion and culture, its impressive cast of contributors includes not only iconic names in fashion photography and styling but also heavyweight international writers and exclusive celebrity contributors.
Another Man is for intelligent men who want a definitive guide to fashion, luxury and culture, packaged with great writing and iconic design. Another Man was launched because we wanted an antidote to the lads magazines of the time.
In this issue:
Escape is a desire that pulses through the new Summer/Autumn 2026 issue ofAnother Man, as we travel the globe for moments of magic. The Hellp, LA’s raucous electroclash duo, bring the paint-stripping, freewheeling energy of punk and art rock to a world fraught with tension and division. The band take a break from tour to meet Shaad D’Souza in London and are captured by photographer Paulo Sutch and styled by Ellie Grace Cumming for the first of nine covers for Issue V. The feeling at fashion week this January was similar in spirit.‘Let’s Get Out of The Black Hole’was the powerful message relayed to attendees at Comme des Garçons Homme Plus runway show in Paris. Longtime collaborator Keizo Kitajima and stylist Shotaro Yamaguchi capture the essence of this collection forAnother Manin Shinjuku, Tokyo.
David Wojnarowicz’s influence and message could not feel more relevant today, and with an incredible new survey show at Modern Institute this June, Issue V offers an exclusive look into his archives and estate, working with acclaimed author and Wojnarowicz devotee Olivia Laing to sift through the life and times of one of art’s most unknowable figures. From Wojnarowicz’s New York we travel to Tokyo for Daido Moriyama’s new retrospective as part of Kyotographie 2026. He speaks to the show’s curator Thyago Nogueira about the vitality of the city and his timeless archive, offering access to both black and white and colour selections. A next-generation figure whose influence stretches wide is painter Pol Taburet. Ahead of his debut solo residency at Villa Medici this May, he lets us in on his profane and mystical art practice for the issue. Additionally, and seen here for the first time, New York literary idol Vince Aletti shares his personal collection of Peter Hujar slides – a colourful and intimate portfolio of the Latin Lower East side community in the summer of 1973.
In a conversation hosted by Durga Chew-Bose, Kim Gordon speaks to Jil Sander creative director Simone Beluti about the value of creative wrong-notes and the kismet that brought the grunge icon into the brand’s orbit for Simone’s beautiful sophomore show in February. Lensed by Marie Valonges, Kim is captured her first ever Another Mancover. Elsewhere in the issue, we spotlight a new wave of British athletics talent responsible for bringing lesser-known sports to big tournaments (photographed by Jack Pierson wearing Chanel J12 watches, and styled by Jerry Stafford); the enduring legacy of adidas’ Stan Smith is explored in Paris by Ai Kamoshita and Julie Joubert as part of a larger collaboration between Another Man and adidas called Objects of Legacy; documentary photographer Rulx Thork shoots fashion for the first time with stylist Marika-Ella Ames and photographic artist Jim Mangan, stylist Nancy Rhode, a stuntman and a horse come together for Rick Owens AW26.
Towards the back of book, and to mark the launch of Another Man’s brand new substack Obsessions Index, Sunn O))), fashion designer Stefano Pilati, curator Reginald Moore, avant-garde performance duo BULLYACHE and San Francisco queerlife documentarian Hal Fischer let us in on their processes, inspirations and inner worlds.
All of this, and more, in the name of escape. In the words of David Wojnarowicz in the edition: “There is something I want to see clearly, something I want to witness in its raw state… I’m trying to lift off the weight of the pre-invented world so I can see what’s underneath it all. I’m hungry and the pre-invented world doesn’t satisfy my hunger.” We agree.
