Apartamento, Issue 32
An everyday life interiors magazine.
Apartamento is widely recognised as today’s most influential, inspiring, and honest interiors magazine. International, well designed, simply written, and tastefully curated since 2008, it is an indispensable resource for individuals who are passionate about the way they live.
The publication is published biannually from its headquarters in Barcelona. It also has offices in Milan and New York City.
In this issue:
The newest issue of Apartamento magazine finds freedom in imagination, with a cover that features filmmaker Marianna Rothen at ease among the cool blues of her home in upstate New York, photographed by Chris Luttrell. A spine specially designed by Anthea Hamilton sets up our interview with the artist in her London home, a family affair that involved her young daughter, Stella Hamilton Byrne, as stylist and Barbie aficionado.
Further highlights include King Krule, who spoke with Carmen Hall and Frank Lebon in the blur of rollout for his latest album, Space Heavy; bestselling author Akwaeke Emezi; Deanna & Ed Templeton, legends of skating and street photography; a journey through Tom of Finland’s LA Pleasure Park; chess grandmaster Nona Gaprindashvili; and so much more. Plus, original writing by Houston native Bryan Washington, award-winning author of Memorial and Family Meal, and music historian Danyel Smith, former editor of Billboard and Vibe and author of the acclaimed Shine Bright; and other surprises!
