From the creators of Brownbook comes Arabic Numerals, a publication that explores the intersection of time, design, and regional identity.
Arabic Numerals is a magazine dedicated to uncovering unconventional and underexplored stories within the world of horology. Founded by architects Ahmed and Rashid, who approach watchmaking through the lens of design, architecture, and artisanal craftsmanship, the magazine presents the field as a kaleidoscope of intersecting disciplines.
In this issue:
The second issue was launched at Dubai Watch Week. Spanning cities and disciplines, the issue traces contemporary watchmaking through vast perspectives: from Roger W. Smith’s quiet workshop on the Isle of Man to Tiffany & Co.’s architectural debut in Dubai; from the streets of Tokyo with Hiroshi Fujiwara to Jean Nouvel’s glass cathedral for Foundation Cartier in Paris.
