Fanfaretti is a timeless magazine about all things creative. It highlights craftsmanship, aesthetics and a positive outlook on life. It is grounded in printed matter, with an interest in lifelong explorations of everything beautiful.

In this issue:

In this issue of Fanfaretti we, alongside our contributors, inquire the theme of textiles, both looking at it from a fashion, craftsmanship and a nostalgic perspectives. Textiles is something everyone comes in contact with, yet it is rare we stop and think about where do they come from, their lives, their purpose and meaning. We focus on crafts(wo)men creating limited edition scarves, repurposing deadstock, re-imagining new ways of using textiles, using stitching as an inspiration for a font, and using cloths as a canvas for art.

Featured in this issue are:
– Kettel Atelier (Upcycling)
– Kemkes (Upcycling)
– Sicels (Silk Scarves)
– Matthew Minton (Photography)
– Clothilde Bouan & Aliocha Boi (Text & Textiles – an inquiry)
– Léna Theodore (Crocheting)
– Jip Mulder (A story about a blouse)
