Franchise, Issue 6
Franchise Magazine, the premier outlet for global basketball culture, returns with it’s sixth issue, capturing a contemporary portrait of the basketball world. Its biggest issue to date, Franchise Issue 06 showcases a broad range of global basketball stars alongside world renowned creators exploring their relationship with the sport through personal, inventive, and avante-garde articulations. The cover of Issue 06 features NBA 2019 MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo shot by UK-based Nigerian photographer Ruth Ossai. Captured in Greece with Ossai’s signature use of dynamic backdrops imported from Lagos, the portraits show all of the Antetokounmpo brothers as well as their mother, Veronica.
