Purienne – Holiday

Following on the heels of his acclaimed, eponymous first book, this new collection of images by the renowned fashion photographer Purienne evokes the joys and beauty of life. Suffused with a sultry 70s-era vibe, Purienne’s photos have been a key part of many ad campaigns from Vogue to Playboy.

In this, his second volume of photography, he presents an enormous range of images from his personal and professional life. Jetsetting between his native South Africa and Los Angeles, Purienne captures alluring women, sun-bathed beaches, and exotic interiors. Shot mostly in his trademark grainy 35 mm film, Purienne’s images often include scratches and other imperfections that belie the sophistication of his technique.
