Trots att det var först som 22-åring Ohad Naharin tog sina första danslektioner har han blivit en av den samtida dansens mest intressanta och hyllade dansare och koreografer. Med över 1200 timmar råmaterial har vännen och filmaren Tomer Heymann mejslat fram ett nyanserat porträtt av Ohad – mannen som skapade ett nytt “dansspråk” kallat Gaga, som kom att rita om hela kartan för den moderna dansen. Hans insatser som konstnärlig ledare för israeliska Batsheva Dance Company fick också danskompaniet att utvecklas till ett av världens främsta.
Mr. Gaga vann Stefan Jarl International Documentary Award på Tempo dokumentärfestival 2016.
