Launched in 2016, Season Zine was ahead of its time, giving female fans and marginalised communities a voice apart from the otherwise male-focused football world. Since it first appeared, the world of women’s football has been transformed, something Felicia Pennant talks about in her introduction as she explains the theme, Truth or Dare: ‘We know (or can find out) surface and deeper truths about the successes and regressions in football on and off the pitch.
