Sempre: Nuova Napoli

Sempre aims to offer guidance on experiencing Italy more deeply, to uncover the true essence of ‘dolce vita’ while avoiding clichés, tourist traps, and overpacked itineraries. We provide thoroughly-tested city guides, delving deep into local recommendations to help us see the true faces of these cities. Our guide series is tailored to those who seek to steer clear of overcrowded areas, yearn for authentic experiences, and share a profound passion for this complex, always surprising, yet familiar country—Italy.

In this issue:

“For ten years, I travelled back and forth between Budapest and Napoli, witnessing her evolution. I watched her flourish, as the world finally recognised her. She is no longer the abandoned, often pitied center of Southern Italy, but a rising star in the shadow of the Vesuvius, bursting with confidence. This fierce self-assurance inspires many to turn their dreams into reality here. Naturally, their love for their home helps too. She feeds their drive, and they are happy to give back, creating something almost as special as this perpetually dynamic city. Nuova Napoli is for them and about them.” – Kata Szabó, the writer
