The broad range of subjects explored with each volume of Study speaks to the social media age in which a diverse selection of interests coexists on every person’s feed.

Each trimester Study explores one theme, talent, institution or idea.

With every volume, Study introduces a new signature or reintroduces a seasoned creative in an elegant and playful ever-evolving format. It is a season-less object, meant to be kept and to come back to.

Study pushes against the notion of relevance and has an eye toward legacy.

Study is published in English with a periodicity of 4 volumes per year.

Each volume is designed by the renowned Parisian agency Petronio Associates.

In this issue:

Living in New York City is an experience that transcends the ordinary. The rhythm of life is a cacophony of ambition, culture, and relentless energy. It’s a place where dreams are chased and where the cityscape itself feels like a living organism, constantly evolving and pulsating with the lives of millions.

For this issue of STUDY, our 7th, we asked photographer Adrian Gaut and creative partner Akari Endo-Gaut to document the spaces of various New Yorkers. Adrian Gaut is an American photographer based in New York, his architectural photographs and travel reports are regularly published by international publications such as Condé Nast Traveler, New York Times, Vogue or Architectural Digest. For this long portfolio of over 100 pages he photographed spaces as they were, no styling, no artificial lighting. Just homes beautifully put together by their owners.

Living in New York City is a testament to resilience and adaptability. The city demands much but offers much in return. Each neighborhood, each block, each building tells a unique story of its residents, their struggles, and their triumphs.

The issue also contains three essays written by Alexa Chung, Violette d’Urso and Zoe Ruffner about their own relationship to the city and what it means to them to live in New York.

The issue also includes a fashion insert photographed by Roe Ethridge and styled by Charlotte Collet built to contrast with the serenity of the main portfolio to create a fashion story populated by people encountered daily around the city : the dog walker, the bike messenger, the art patron, or teenagers with a surprise guest appearance by famed author, journalist and iconic New Yorker Bob Colacello.
