The Flow Diary 2021

There are so many beautiful quotes around, written and spoken by so many inspiring women from different moments in time and from all over the world. Each of these women has her own story, from astronauts to someone who traded her life of luxury for a life as a nurse. And then there are the First Ladies, the movie stars, the writers and the women living ordinary lives just like most of us.

Whoever they are, they all have one thing in common: strength. The strength to rediscover themselves time after time, to always keep searching, and to fight for themselves and for those in need.

From all these inspiring women we collected twelve beautiful quotes, one for each month. This way, every month we will be reminded of that strength and that we also have it within us. The quotes have been hand-lettered by Doris Wai and placed inside Conny Lahnstein’s colorful silhouettes of the inspiring woman who said it.
