Widely regarded as one of Scandinavia’s leading magazines, The New Era Magazine brings together interiors, architecture, design, and craft in a beautifully designed biannual publication. Each issue introduces readers to some of the most compelling spaces, people, and ideas shaping the cultural landscape today.
In this issue:
In issue 07 of The New Era Magazine we visit a range of creative homes and design studios and talk to designers, artists and interior designers who are shaping our times in different ways.
We knock on a modernist house designed by Sven Markelius and a 19th century farm on the Swedish west coast. We travel to Milan to visit the home of architect Francesco Zorzi from NM3 and visit Older Studio, which creates bespoke uniforms for some of the world’s leading brands. We also explore three homes decorated by prominent interior designers based in Scandinavia and spend time with Finnish designer Ilkka Suppanen in his Milan apartment.
“Milan gives you a sense of being part of something bigger. It’s a place where design is taken seriously – it’s never trivialized here,” he says of his new hometown.
