On her way to transport a valuable parrot across Ireland, pet shop worker Mina (Fanning) suddenly finds herself stranded in the middle of a deep, remote forest.

As she sets out to find help, she encounters a woman named Madeline (Olwen Fouéré) who explains that there are others who have found themselves trapped in the darkened forest.

If they are to survive, they must confine themselves to an enclosed shelter, for on the other side of a mirror they are being watched…
