100 Years of Architecture

Alan Powers is a well known writer on twentieth-century visual culture. He has had a career in conservation, teaching and curating exhibitions. His books include Modern: The Modern Movement in Britain (2005), Eric Ravilious (2014) and a forthcoming monograph on the artist Edward Ardizzone. He is an honorary of the RIBA and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquities.
