About is a new architecture publication, halfway between a magazine and a book, designed to become a point of reference in the sector. An ecosystem that unites paper, digital and events, designed for a  global community of architects, designers and professionals . Through essays, projects, visual storytelling and data, architecture becomes an open field, in dialogue with other disciplines. About proposes itself as a space for discussion and innovation for those who live and design the world through architecture.

In this issue:

The second issue, ABOUT: Sportscapes, brings together a selection of spaces where sport becomes architecture — and vice versa. Not only stadiums and arenas, but also gyms, public parks, skateparks, aquatic centers, and temporary installations. These projects reflect the changing ways in which bodies are hosted, celebrated, choreographed, or controlled. The aim is to explore how contemporary design engages with sport as a space of performance and negotiation — between discipline and freedom, nature and artifice, inclusion and exclusion.

Equally central to the issue are the five theoretical essays by Silvia Camporesi, Didier Fiúza Faustino, Gabriel Fontana, Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli, and Moira Valeri. Their contributions, together with the input of a network of international advisors, enrich the editorial vision of Sportscapes as a collective effort.
