In this issue:
“BRAINS” Share Current Design Missions!
Where is the birthplace of all creativity and various ideas that are able to mobilize computers and AI? It is our brain. Therefore, this issue’s main visual design highlights the concept of the “brain.” The editorial team selects the elements of the 21 creators’ works and collages to show the storm of inspiration blowing up in their minds while they are creating.
Unlock Your Creative Potential with Our Improvisation Toolkit!
This issue is a toolkit for improvisation because each designer’s creative process is designed as a folder, together with a bookmark. Combining 12 bookmarks in order, the pieces become a line drawing work originally created by Chris Harnan. Then, it is your moment to create in any way you like! The toolkit also includes a limited edition sticker to boost your inspiration.
Fumio Tachibana stated: “Don’t design with an intended result, but find it during the process.”
The layout design of this issue is a journey to find a better solution. The designers in the editorial team work day and night to explore alternative solutions for editorial design, and they boldly try many new ideas. It is like a workshop exploring possibilities of magazine design.
