Flow Magazine, Issue 39

The best things happen when you dare to follow your heart. We – Dutch editors Astrid van der Hulst and Irene Smit – dreamed of a magazine with which we could explore our love of paper. A magazine of unhurried time, all about doing things differently and making new choices. Small happiness, daily life and the beauty of not always managing to be perfect. That is how Flow began. Flow is all about positive psychology, creativity and self development. We love illustrations and in each issue there is a gift made of our much-loved paper. We print the magazine itself on different types of paper.

Flow is embraced worldwide by fans of paper, creativity, illustrations and slow news. But then, unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and we had to stop publishing our international edition of Flow Magazine for a few years. But hey… we’re back!

The world needs Flow Magazine now more than ever’: that’s what one reader wrote to us last year. It’s a beautiful message, one that made us work even harder to try and bring the international edition back. Now two issues are published each year, and are distributed worldwide. It’s also loved by tourists and expats!
