Foam Magazine is an international photography magazine. The magazine serves as an exhibition space that embraces every aspect of photography from documentary to fashion, from contemporary to historical, from world famous photographers to young talent.
In this issue:
You are what you eat! Food fuels us, heals us and brings people together. Yet there is another side to food, which is more political and complex than it appears. Nourishment, ritual, sustainability, economy, labour, culture, ecology, community, exploitation, identity, politics: food is not only a basic need, it is deeply intertwined with the majority of aspects in our lives – as individuals and as communities.
This issue of Foam Magazine looks at what we are made of, focusing on the way food drives us apart, brings us together and moves us further – all at the same time.
We are incredibly proud to host contributions from a wide plethora of precious guests: from portfolios showing the works of artists such as Maisie Cousins, Lin Zhipeng (aka No.223), and Rotimi Fani-Kayode to text contributions by Mark Sealy, Siddharta Mitter and Gem Fletcher – only to name a few.
