Den här antologin presenterar sju serier av den banbrytande konstnären Hilma af Klint, som alla tillkom under det första halvåret 1920 och är de sista målningarna af Klint skapade innan hon övergick till att måla akvarell och anlade den tydligt antroposofiska stil som Rudolf Steiner och hans lärjungar lärde ut. Antologin är baserad på ett seminarium arrangerat på Goetheinstitutet i London i samband med utställningen Hilma af Klint: Painting the Unseen, som ägde rum på Serpentine Galleries i London våren 2016.
Bland skribenterna återfinns bland andra Moderna museets före detta chef, Daniel Birnbaum, Hans Ulrich Obrist, konstnärlig ledare för Serpentine Galleries samt flera internationella konsthistoriker. Boken ingår i en serie som bygger på seminarier om Hilma af Klints konstnärskap, anordnade av Axel och Margaret Ax:son Johnsons stiftelse. Den första boken att ges ut var Hilma af Klint: Tidsandans visionär,som utkom hösten 2019.
