An exhilarating new documentary by Irish director Niall McCann, Lost In France explores the rise of Scotland s independent music scene in the ’90s, led by cult label Chemikal Underground, which heralded a renaissance of independent music in the city that would bring the likes of The Delgados, Bis, Mogwai, Arab Strap, Franz Ferdinand, RM Hubbert and other seminal acts to the world.

Featuring a stunning mix of live performances and frequently hilarious interviews, this is an intimate film exploring friendship, creativity and making music film which revisits a defining trip early in the musicians careers, re-staging a concert in France that connects the characters for the first time in many years.
