Lost Time, Aphrodite Beach is a new publication by artist Louise Enhörning featuring 73 photographs publiched by the prestigous art publisher Mousse Publications. The artworks explore time and space, using photography to raise philosophical questions about perception and reality—central themes in Enhörning’s practice. With photography as a medium, Enhörning maps memory, transforming it into a tool for controlling the perception of the world and time. Inspired by the poetry of everyday life, Enhörning approaches her subjects with a sensibility to transform and reflect on materials to depict a lost time.
The publication includes new works as well as some significant past pieces never before exhibited, including her first photograph from 1994, all exploring “lost time.”
