Marfa Journal is a new printed publication inspired by Marfa, TX and created BY ARTISTS FOR ARTISTS. Marfa, TX is a small town of just over 2,000 people located in the middle of the desert not far from the Mexican border, which attracts attention of the art world since the 60s.

In this issue:

The latest issue of contemporary high end fashion and art journal Marfa has a ‘marvellous array of ladies of great wit, intelligence and beauty’ reflecting on their careers—the lineup is fronted by Hollywood legend Susan Sarandon, accompanied by Cameron Russell, Fran Summers, Alicia Vikander, Nuar Alsadir and the cast of noughties comedy trio Smack The Pony.

There’s also interviews with composer William Basinski (a MARFAvourite) and painter Jonathan Lyndon Chase; a Barbican photoshoot; and a fragmented short story revolving around a writing retreat.
