Period. is an independent magazine, without any advertising, not about periods, but about intriguing and interesting themes. For each issue, photographers, illustrators and writers, interpret the themes freely.

Period. issue one is a journal by Lena Modigh with help from a few friends. Compelling writing by favourite crazy cousin Kristina Sigunsdotter and super-smart Jaana Alakoski, illustrations by awesome-as-fuck Ia, clever and beautiful Ani Eloyon and best and oldest friend Paola de Grenet, with photographs by amazing Nina Andersson and the poised and enigmatic Erika Wall and Anna Kleberg, and styling by lovely Lisa Sundström, plus hair and makeup by talented Therese Svenbo. This is all about being women and fucking cool, because all women are fucking cool, regardless of however they look and whoever they fuck. Period.
