Hailing from Japan originally, VI/NYL (pronounced as VI-and-NYL) features personas who making their own marks in the current crossovers in music, fashion and culture from and beyond Japan. VI/NYL’s aim is to become a platform to bring out experiences essential to music and culture audiences today through on-and-offline activities.

VI/NYL International Edition is making its debut on February 10, 2025. Published by Caelum London Limited, an UK arm of Tokyo-based Caelum Limited, the powerhouse behind acclaimed titles like NYLON JAPAN and HIGHSNOBIETY JAPAN, VI/NYL’s global edition will be published on a bi-monthly basis, showcasing Japanese and international artists, delivering fresh perspectives and global voices that are shaping the future of music and culture.

In this issue:

The first issue will feature Snow Man, Japan’s pop group phenomenon. Celebrating their 5th anniversary on January 22, 2025, Snow Man takes centre stage as the cover stars of VI/NYL’s debut issue. Known for breaking records since their debut in 2020, the 9-member group’s 2023 album i DO ME sold over 1 million copies in its first week. Now, they’re gearing up to release their first-ever best-of album, THE BEST 2020– 2025. Alongside Snow Man, VI/NYL’s inaugural issue highlights 15 rising stars who are gaining world wide attention.
