WM Brown magazine celebrates craft, the well-made, and well-traveled life. Each issue is based on the season and how they approach style, food, drink, and the things that drive them. Published quarterly in Brooklyn, NY and meant to be a collectible.
Creator Matt Hranek is a photographer and magazine editor for Conde Nast Traveler magazine. He has been exploring, foraging, hunting, fishing and cooking for a large part of his life. These are some examples of his collected experiences and inspirations.
In this issue:
Our Summer 2026 issue embraces the best of the season, kicking off with a style feature in one of our favorite cities, Athens, following our cover man, designer Alessandro Pirounis. We also go inside the largest collection of surfboards in the world, share the saga of Matt’s road trip from Lago di Garda to Bordeaux in a vintage Fiat Panda, and a cookbook excerpt from a Maine kitchen that demystifies the art of shucking oysters. Elsewhere, we profile a pioneering television food hero and a small San Francisco distillery making great booze, and visit a design-driven rug-making atelier outside of Marrakech.
