‘This catalogue is published on the occasion of the Werkstattpreis 2018, an award for sculptors, and Charlotte Mumm’s solo-exhibition ‘so oft so soft’ at Kunststiftung Erich Hauser in Rottweil Germany. It shows the exhibition in the working hall of 600m2 en detail and in combination with poems and the profound text from the art critic Ursula Panhans-Bühler. In the beginning of the catalogue is a correspondence between Mumm and the curator Thomas Niemeyer over this particular exhibition; the book is closing with a letter from Sol LeWitt to Eva Hesse. The whole inside of the book is embraced by the fold-out cover, which shows other diverse exhibitions from 2018 and recent sculptural works.’
