The Face is a British music, fashion and culture monthly magazine originally published from 1980 to 2004, and relaunched in 2019. The Face was Britain’s first youth magazine to present ‘youth subject matter’ beyond music alone. A strong voice of urban identity in the age of Thatcher, it rapidly became an icon of ‘style culture’, the benchmark for the very latest trends in music, fashion, photography and film.
In this issue:
For the Summer 2024, family takes centre stage as The Face pulls at the ties that bind people together. The saying may go that blood is thicker than water, but editor Matthew Whitehouse insists on a more inclusive definition for family: ‘Family is the people you surround yourself with, whether they’re your bandmates, industry peers, mentors, or the people you’ve inspired.’
Cover stars include: Lil Simz, Alex Consani, Skepta, and NewJeans.
